Presentation of our mission
On Thursday November 27th 2025, The Wächter-Parnass Shoah Heritage Center in Hamburg had a priviledge to present its mission, goals and recent achievements to the members of Jewish Community of Hamburg.
The audience comprised the youth of the 11th grade Josef Carlebach School in Hamburg, under tutelage of dr Aaron Kindermann. We have discussed the notion of "Jewish Optimism", the necessity of resilience in Jewish history and the need to adjust the narrative about Shoah in the contemporary generation.
Moreover, as a part of our project "The Broken Biographies", Dr Arje Krawczyk outlined the heritage and the biogram of Oskar Goldberg (1885-1952).
The session was supported by our partner, Paideia - The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden.
Forthcoming sessions to follow, stay tuned!
